enlightenment

so I just read on wikipedia that enlightenment (the window manager) is written in C.   How the fuck did we let this happen, /prog/?

goddamn if lisp hackers could actually do something concrete we could make a kickass operating system.  all we have instead is 300 different ideas for kickass operating systems that will never be implemented.
