I find that if I need to snack on something while programming, organic carrots and celery with non-fat spinach dip, Sheridan grapes and/or Skeena cherries (when in season) are the best options for me. If I need something more substantial I'll go for a winterbanana, winesap or a tangelo.
If I'm thirsty, I just have mineral water (with a twist of lemon if I need a little boost) or on rare occasions Earl Grey for those extremely late night coding sessions.
What does /prog/ like to eat while programming?

Fruits and vegetables that have minimal processing as snacks. Fresh juice will complement that.
What I prefer to do is take a step back and reanalyze while I eat my food.
I'd love to have military grade MREs[sup] (
Meal Ready to Eat
)[/sup] and I won't have to leave my desk while programming, not even for a snack.
