I know programmers loved the old DEC PDP-11 and I know there are software emulators for this hardware. But Im wondering if any chip maker has make a CPU with the same architecture as the PDP-11. I think it would be great for learning assembly on.

Why would learning assembly on the actual chip be any different from learning it on an emulator?

You get to smell the nice scent of burnt silicon if you accidentally overclock it too far.

You can't hook a servo up to an emulator.
