Why is there so much arguing and general negativity here on /prog/?
Shouldn't /prog/ just be about having fun with programming? Like contests and challenges and programming jokes?

We use them for useful things all the time, otherwise we wouldn't have learned them in the first place, however what we find annoying is the cheap trolling technique of claiming those languages are useless or somehow inferior, usually spewed by those who never even learned those languages to be able to have an opinion of them. 3 points added for forgetting to spoiler your /prog/.
