That's what my "work" actually involves right now. However I would be grateful if somebody would provide me with a book who would go in detail about all Unix (and derivatives) so that I can finally say I know enough about Unix.
One of the reasons I deleted Gentoo was in fact because it appeared I was learning Gentoo and Portrage and nothing else.
On a last note. Anyone can link me to some integral up to date source for and over overview of Unix (and linux).
I already am half way through LFS so anything else?
