LD_LIBRARY_PATH

A hacky variable that only exists to negate the effects of its own existence when used incorrectly.

As an often unwanted side effect, LD_LIBRARY_PATH will also be searched at link (ld) stage after directories specified with -L (also if no -L flag is given).

Note to self: wait until this thread is almost off the bottom of the thread list, then make a surprise no exceptions post.
