A modest proposal

1. Most replies are used with sage nowadays
2. Old threads rarely need to be bumped
it is proposed that
no replies will bump a thread

Let's make an OpenShiichan platform with Rails. We would have a fully RESTful architecture and allow you to login in any way you find convenient (twitter, facebook, gmail, wordpress, etc).
We would prevent necrobumping by designing a much more usable UI, that would emphasize tags and relevance to your browsing history instead of chronological order.
BTW, for formatting, do you prefer Markdown or Textile?
Anyway, I'm very excited about this. Starting work immediately. I'll give you the Github clone URL later.
