Sepples Lite

What are the good bits of C++ (if any) in your opinion?

Could there be a way of pruning out the shit and just gluing these useful bits on to C to create a Sepples that less people hate?

That would be C.

The only reason people don't like C++ is because it allows bad programmers to over complicate code. However, I would rather have a double-edged sword than a wiffle bat.

neither C or C++ have "the ideal feature set". You have to write your own abstractions over whatever they provide. If you start using pure C, you have better control over the low-level execution(more efficiency). if you start with C++ tools you spend less effort and have more libraries and function prebuilt(more productivity). If you want even more prebuilt stuff, try D(easier programming) or some modern BASIC(PureBasic, FreeBasic, etc).

Anyone who really believes that's why people don't like Sepples is one of those bad programmers.

Yes, but >>5 wanted to be polite and upload a screenshot of it for future /prog/ readers.
