Which is better for web development, python or php?
I know some php but now I am starting to think that I am wasting my time and that I should just learn python. What are the pros and cons of both?
Pros:
Use different tools for different jobs, but always something proven and reliable.
They will often prefer something clean and simple that gives bang for the buck in terms of power versus complexity.
Cons:
After PHP-tards finish whatever mediocre education they are pursuing, they often, upon finding that they have no marketable skills, as they can write a program no better than a pimply first-year student, (or for that matter, a monkey), turn to a life of crime.
Their exceptional incompetence in all facets of life will quickly land them behind bars, but sadly this does little to curb the population, as PHP programmers grow like weeds on good soil.
