As one of the regular haters of FIOC, I agree with

>>16 . The problem with FIOC isn't so much that it is a terrible language, but that, on far too many occasions, it comes close to the mark and then misses it. I also think that Ruby is far better than we give it credit for. Although, like perl, it will always be a big pile of hack, even when they are tastefully done.
