Is that graph a commentary on the fact that Go does not support any form of tail recursion?

Name: Anonymous 2010-04-22 16:21

I have no idea what it is, really. It was posted to the comments window during a presentation on go I attended. I was hoping prague could tell me, or perhaps just give me some opinions on the language.

Well you see, if that is a graph of the stack then recursion will, by times, cause the last line to occur: note the depth is the same but there is obviously a problem... and someone seems frustrated.

My opinion is: skip it. It could have been good but it's been compromised too much by stupid ideologies.

I think it's a graph representing the amount people give a shit about go. The "go! ヽ(`Д´)ノ " is a statistical error.

It's a 21x21 board. Black is winning. ヽ(`Д´)ノ is white player, who inadvertently did an auto-atari one move ago.

Ok, I cracked a smile.

Don't change these.
