you don't have any computers capable of running qemu and a vnc client?
if you can get some kind of x86 *nix (bsd and anti-free gnaa/loonix are both widely available) running, you can use wine to run internet explorer.

My computer is capable of Qemu and a VNC client. However:
1. I don't have Windows. I don't care to get it.
2. Wine won't work on my machine without some sort of x86 emulation.
3. I don't know anyone who would care to let me connect to their Windows system over VNC.

did you not read the post you're replying to?
1. you don't need windows, wine works just fine.
2. that's what qemu is for.
3. the vnc client is for connecting to qemu, if sdl doesn't work on your machine.
