so i was talking to mootykins and he told me that he was thinking that /prog/ would be a great forum to axe. considering it doesnt meld well with the whole 4chan theme, its gone to astray. so /prog/, what will you do when your precious forum is gone?
/prog/ should be back to normal as long as certain fellows go back to /b/. I'm generally not much of a fan of heavy moderation, but /prog/ would use at least a bit of cleanup.
It'd be unfair if moot did this. /prog/ is a very unique little forum that emerged quite spontaneously. The majority of 4chan's subcommunities are unremarkable - you'll find similar content to theirs with ease. But you won't find anything like /prog/. Nowhere do people READ their SICP as much as they do here. Nowhere in the Western Internet you'll find such mastery of BBCode. No other forum is blessed by none other than the progsnake. Who would want to MURDER such a wonderful creation?

OP is just trolling (I have found proof, but it is ineffable--you must find your own), but besides that the trouble is that /prog/ is unintelligible to the uninitiated.

Also /prog/ is just a bullshit. Even if that were not a troll, I'd say "WHO CARES?", since this place is just a crap. What's the point of having a bss where the only thing you can read is "Have you read your SICP" or ".* MY ANUS"?
Also: axe my anus.

Nice try, moot doesn't talk to people. He only talks to soup.

Oddly enough there are programming topics on PedoTalk, but they're few and far between, plus they don't get many responses for obvious reasons. Also, no thanks.
