[aa] tag script for imageboards?

Every now and then someone will (attempt to) post SJIS art on the imageboards, primarily on /jp/ as far as I know. The result usually varies from utter shit to what appears like the primitive, seemingly arbitrary keyboard-bashings of a braindamaged blind and deaf Turkish youth injected with a lifetime's worth of adrenaline and viagra. Not very clear, in other words.

Having heard of a script that allows posters to play attached sound files using tags in their posts^[1], I figured it would also be possible to create a script that would display any text placed within [aa] tags in Mona font.

``How hard could it be?'' I asked myself, having no programming experience other than some basic ActionScript (though I'm now attempting to learn C to code gameboy games that print naughty words when I press enter). Well, after looking at the previously mentioned Greasemonkey sound script's source cod–hoping to steal some of it for my own needs–I realised I was in over my head. Thus I turn to you, /prog/. If not for my sake or for that of the imageboards, then for the sake of SJIS art, or even just to show how good you are; pretty please?

Google for "Expert BBCode Framework" and see how they do the preview, that should give you a small start. I'm not sure if [aa] is supported by it, or whether I added it myself, but if it isn't it won't be too hard to add.
