LUnix is a Unix-like operating system for the Commodore 64, a popular home computer of the 1980s. It supports TCP/IP networking (SLIP or PPP using an RS232 interface). Unlike most Unix-like systems, LUnix is written in 6502 assembly language instead of C.

OS-9 was similarly written (commercially by Microware) as a UNIX-like operating system, implemented in native-code, not C, for the 6809 microprocessor.
