Hey, /prog/

I noticed that sometimes /prog/ is a great resource, and sometimes gives you a real opportunity of communicating with skilled people.

Unfortunately there's a lot of spam, nonsense and bad humor.
I'm not thinking about a /prog/ without jokes, but I would be proud of a good /prog/.

From now on I promise I'll stop trolling on this board, in order to have a better place where to communicate with other people like me.

Trolling has lost all meaning in the last ~5 years. It's become just a different type of humor... highly individualized, facetious attempts to make your opposition look bad. That's not trolling at all and shouldn't be included in the definition.

A good troll actually believes in what he says most of the time, he/she just phrases their beliefs in such a way as to be inflammatory.
