Name: anon 2010-01-30 0:57

ok /prog/ first time here..

how would i make a program that goes to my ISP's site, logs in gets the "usage meter" data and brings it back to the application?
ie, i want to make a metering program that also warns if im getting close to the limit

i can code C++, but thats probably about it..

Switch to unlimited

That would be trivial as >>2 said, but >>7 is a much better solution.

Didn't you know? Unlimited hasn't meant actually unlimited for countless years. "Unlimited" refers to getting the bandwidth you pay for - which is limited after a certain amount of bandwidth expended.

Personally, I find this atrocious. They shouldn't be able to use a term like "unlimited" when it is not, in fact, unlimited.
