Desks

The way I see it, there are two kinds of desks - ones with a tray underneath for the keyboard and ones that expect you to place your keyboard on the same surface as the monitor. What type do you use?

Mine is carefully constructed out of a collection of pizza boxes, and as such has no trays to speak of.

The latter. I built it myself, so I know it's perfect. Keyboard trays are just for shitty desks that are built too high and don't have enough room on top for the keyboard and your other stuff. And mousing on a keyboard tray? Forget about it. My monitor, of course, is elevated.

I too use a one-story affair - a large glass-topped desk from ikea that i got from ebay for a bargain. The glass-top is a little chilly, so I have a blanket over it like a table-cloth. this keeps my wrists snug, and also is nice and comfortable too.

I currently use a desk with a keyboard tray, but I removed it and put my keyboard and mouse on the desk itself.
