Best Free Anti-virus Software

Not sure if this is the most appropriate forum, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend a decent freeware anti-virus software.

Been using Avast and was told there are better alternatives...

Yes, I am a firefox. So? I dont see any problem. I embraced my animal soul long ago and I am happy together with my girlfriend (who is a cute b/w panther!). We have a fucking lot of friends in and outside of the fandom and I am pretty slim and good looking.
