The fields of psychoactive drugs and computer programming have a long history, dating back to the 60s counterculture's influence on the burgeoning computer science world. What drugs does /prog/ use in combination to help them conjure spirits?
I'm rather bland when it comes to chemicals I'll ingest during an actual programming session. A few beers and a cup or two of coffee is all I need to get into one of my patented problem solvan, keyboard whackan moods. While attempting to devise a solution to a particularly complex problem or pondering the meaning of something, however, I find it helpful to take a hit of (legally acquired) salvia divinorum and experience the true power of human intelligence, raw and unfiltered.

Personally, I like the taste of raw milk more than pasteurized milk, but most of the time only drink pasteurized milk due to safety concerns (diseases may be transmitted).

No, you can. Just the sale of it is prohibited. Legally in my state only the farmer is allowed to obtain it, or he can give it away, but not for profit, unless it's pasteurized. Of course there are farmers who sell it anyway despite the law as even though it is banned here, the milk is still used raw for the production of raw milk cheeses. They also have to be aged sixty days before they are to be sold.

Not saying that couldn't happen on a local scale, however worse case of salmonella poisoning in U.S. history happened with pasteurized milk.

Some people with lactose intolerance have tried milk raw and some have said that they were able to consume it with no problems, some said that the problem was still the same even with raw milk.
It really depends upon the person of course.

Disagree. It's impossible to use drugs for their performance ehancing functions only unless you have got experience with the drug, which implies recreational use. What I propose instead is to explore the drug and its effects on you fully and just pick what you want.
