It was ended the same way all our relationships will end with a restraining order

No, you're confusing /b/ with /prog/; the typical relationship here ends at the closing of the last browser window.

A browser window? That's just too cold and impersonal. Not to mention the wasted space it necessarily causes. I can only enjoy my girlfriends in a dedicated fullscreen image viewer.
Fuck, still forgot the trip. Anyway. Someone pantsu'ed my thread and I happened to come to /prog/ so I might as well write the epilogue.
We met on Christmas, she was in an awful, awful mood. Said stuff like "I don't care about your birthday, I don't care about you or about other humans", mentionning how it was boring to be with me, etc. I suggested in an email later that she reconsider what she said, because I don't like being told stuff like that. She said she agreed, we'd better stop talking, and then went on to block/ignore me, effectively cancelling all our plans for the holiday.
After that I saw from her Twitter that she decided to leave for Dubai and cut contact with most of her friends, apparently including me. She left a month and a half ago. So, yeah, now she's working alone in Dubai in a contract for a few years. Shit sucks. I mostly got over it due to being fucking busy, but sometimes like now I still remember the time we spent together and I still like her, or at least the funny, sane, not I-hate-all-humans side of her. Today is her birthday.
Anyway, don't try to fix broken goods. It backfires. The end.

Wow. That makes me want to propose to this woman. Too bad she's fictitious.
