LaTeX

Dear /prog/,
There's something that has been bothering me for some time now.
Is LaTeX considered… furry? Now some of my best friends are LaTeX users, so I'd like to give it the benefit of doubt, but the cover of the reference manual speaks for itself, as does the header on http://www.latex-project.org/.

Lately my ``friends'' been been inviting me to partake in their perversions, suggesting I attend introductory courses on LaTeX. I've declined so far, but I'm starting to suspect it would be better to go to one and then beat the attendees straight again with the TeXbook.

What kind of criteria are you judging by to proclaim that a piece of software is ``furry"? Only the logo? If so, I do not think that you have sufficient evidence to deem the software ``furry". I don't even think there are any real pieces of ``furry" software to compare it to.
