Sorry, I know this is kind of like saying Santa isn't real.  
I've been here quite a while and /prog/ has never been good.  The anon who say it was are either have their view clouded with nostalgia or are trolling.  Speaking of trolling, paul grahm just released a new essay about startups, http://www.paulgraham.com/really.html, hows ARC coming along Paul?
