How do you guys work with projects using svn? I personally can't stand it, I much prefer git, and probably mercurial to svn. So when I do work with svn projects I often use git-svn. The only problem with this, is that it can't handle svn:externals, which unfortunately a project relies on.
Therefore, what do you guys use to work with svn projects and does it support svn:externals? (besides svn of course)
I use file names with version numbers. No need for svn/git/other useless cruft

I just get it right the first time. It's a waste of resources and time to do it otherwise.

that's why you're considered the worst programmer on /prog/. >>3
you're either absolutely perfect or have never worked on a medium/large project.
i'm guessing it's the latter

This is /prog/, expect the good, but also expect the bad.
For example, you should code with pen and paper, and if you mess up, then kill yourself.

sounds like some kind of ancient sect of programmer monks who're dedicated to reaching satori via perfect code
