Quite simply, yes.
To elaborate, the other side presents only circumstantial evidence and hearsay.
Without proof positive, in the form of pictures or DNA evidence the claim of female programmers does not and cannot stand.
Any further questions?
Your Honor, the State rests its case at this time.

Well, this isn't exactly a macro, but I still didn't evaluate the function myself. That's gotta be worth something.

sex and gender generalizations are dumb and are also probably a significant part of the reason why there are so few women in this field

Actually, these generalizations occur in essentially every field. There are constantly statistics produced about women in any field as if it fucking matters. So much for "gender equality." Can't really be equal when you're a special case, now, can you?

In fact these statistics are about men. It's men who are special case.

Just think about it. If someone published a study titled
``98.7% of LISP developers are men'' all you guys would whine to no end, "why are men speeshul", "why are we singled out", "who cares if a coder has a penis" and so on. Women are naturally more balanced and less likely to make a fuss over nothing, so for the sake of tranquility (but justified by "political correctness" ffs) everything gets titled the way it is.

The facts are that the intelligence bell curve for women is more peaked around the mean that the same curve for men. The bell curve for men is flatter by comparison, and thus the really bright (and the really stupid) ones tend to be men.
Sorry bitches you're just too normal for high functioning intellectual pursuits like coding. Now do some normal shit like balance the family budget, pay the bills, and make some fukken sammichs already 'cuz I'm busy trying to code here.
