Hey /prog/! I've got a fun new
activity for you today!
The
/prog/ Applet Workshop is a website where we can develop, modify host and share our own applets, and build upon applets that other /prog/riders post! The rules are simple:
1. Don't delete other people's source or applets.
2. Don't change the password.
3. When posting your applet, copy your new applet tag above the previous applet tag in the index.html file.
4. Post your source code in the form of a .txt or a .java.
5. Don't be a DOUCHEBAG .
6. Be creative!
I went ahead and posted my SquareBounce applet and it's source in the webshell.

Kinda cool. There should be a way to turn it into a game though.
Don't run both apps at once, it will slow the FUCK out of both of them

Code it in C and post it here, you might be able to get someone to translate it to java for you. Syntax is very similar.

How can I make applets? I would love to participate but I don't believe I can make them in my language of choice, C. I assume Java is necessary. I'm pretty tsuntsun about that, but whatever this looks like fun.
How do I shot applet?

NetBeans. I wouldn't go into that territory.
Interestingly, if you spawn ~15000 of the squares in squarebounce, it would make a fantastic mask for video editing to give the video a grainy, old feel. Especially if you applied a grayscale filter to it.
