Java tutorial vids

Learning Java and re-learning Visual Basic for my software development course this year, trying to drill it into my head as I really want to stick in and do well this year.. So I'm just gonna practice and practice as much as I can. Found this great play-list of most of the basics and getting on to intermediate stuff in Java, but it finishes after 20 vids http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=FE2CE09D83EE3E28&search_query=java Anyone know any others that're good like this? Java wizards and new-bee's opinion's both wanted. In return tits or whatever.

Some thought went into this troll, but in the end, I feel it is too blatant. Someone will undoubtedly fall for it, though. 8.5/10.

Tutorials like these can be a good way to get comfortable with a language, but I wouldn't rely on it for any real understanding. Once you've finished those tutorials, I suggest you read a good book instead; they have a much stronger tendency to cover everything, instead of just enough to get you going, and explain properly how it all comes together.

Cool, was in the middle of reading Java for Dummies then found these, I'll just look into as many resources as I can really. Turns out there's 45 vids in the playlist anyway so it's all coo'. Will look for more later on.

Nothing wrong with the tutorials on Sun's website. It's not just beginner's stuff there, though they don't go too deep either.
