WPA2 anii haxing

I don't expect any of you faggots to have any clue but -

Can anybody tell me how secure WPA2 wireless networks are? What I am interested in - can clients using the same network, same AP, same password, sniff each other?

From what I gather, this is done properly (secure key exchange for each client), and therefore it's impossible.
