I'm guessing you're a Windows user. Adobe has done so much damage to the reputation of what is otherwise a reasonably sensible format on that platform.

Actually no, It's just that more and more often I am finding HTML much more useful for documentation purposes than PDFs. I don't even particularly care if I am wrong, it's just personal preference.
