Name: Anonymous 2009-08-03 18:34

How can i stay invisable on the internet so that not even the fbi can find me. I use tor and use simple browsers like w3m. I use cgi proxys. I dont use my normal email or anything else when i do this that could link me to anything. what else can i do? what should i read about? any links or books i should read?

Maybe you live IN AMERICA

I don't, and I get much faster connection speeds (10-30Mbps downstream and less than half that speed downstream) than what most US ISPs offer. I've only heard of one local ISP doing something so stupid, but why would I use such crap?

less than half that speed upstream

European nerds love bragging about their connection speeds. They are sad, sad people.

Proof that you have no idea about the situation here. In most (developed) European countries, we pay twice as much for about half the speed most people have in AmeriKKKa, and this is for ADSL, meaning that (a) upspeed will be slow as fuck and (b) if you come anywhere near 90% saturation of either up- or downlink, the other link suffers massive latency problems.

>>46 Most of DSL in AmeriKKKa is also ADSL.

What? No, no you don't. At all. The Internet situation is absolutely laughable in all of North America. I did an extensive research on this once, and just about every country in Europe had higher speed for much much less. If I recall correctly, Sweden was one of the best country for that.

And you also have no throttling at all.

MAC address of the router I can get a new IP address, but if I unplug it and plug it back in with the same MAC the IP address remains the same

When despotism has established itself for ages in a country, as in France, it is not in the person of the king only that it resides. It has the appearance of being so in show, and in nominal authority; but it is not so in practice and in fact. It has its standard everywhere. Every office and department has its despotism, founded upon custom and usage. Every place has its Bastille, and every Bastille its despot. The original hereditary despotism resident in the person of the king, divides and sub-divides itself into a thousand shapes and forms, till at last the whole of it is acted by deputation. This was the case in France; and against this species of despotism, proceeding on through an endless labyrinth of office till the source of it is scarcely perceptible, there is no mode of redress. It strengthens itself by assuming the appearance of duty, and tyrannises under the pretence of obeying.
