Windows API books

I'm looking for a good book on the Windows API. Most online tutorials contain little more than guides of how to make a blank window or a message box, whereas I'm looking for something that includes things like managing threads and network connections as well as managing a GUI. Are there any books anyone recommends?

It's easy, you might not even need a book.
