JAVA

I love java. Its the language I learned on, and I've never strayed from it since. Why does no one seem to like it here?

ActionScript 2.0 for the win, since I can actually do something with it.

I prefer the homosexual S&M-oriented language FIOC.

The Java community tells me that Java is used everywhere: embedded controllers, in enterprise, desktop applications, web applications etc. That's how good it is

You know what else are?  C, Python, and Lisp.

JAVA struck me as a bit more decipherable than C.

of course, having to state

public void ...(){}


for many of my functions/methods was a pain in the ass.

[I learned JAVA as part of a computer science class. at least I understand the theory; the code itself can elude me at times, leading to some horribly inefficient code]
