Starting out

I want to begin coding. The way I see it there's two ways:

1. Traditional method.

HTML--->Java Script--->C/C++--->Python, Perl--->Haskel, Seppels, LISP

2.[spoierl]prog[/spoiler] method.

I want to know how the hell you can know all languages just from SICP.

Lol see you guys, this is why we have stereotypes. The fact of the matter is, stereotypes that are true ARE THE ONES THAT STICK. A lisp running out of memory on a fucking CRAY 9000 well I haven't heard THAT ONE before...

You know that if I tried to make a stereotype of ruby on rails being REALLY efficient, yeah it would NEVER stick.

If I tried to make a stereotype of C programmers writing working code, it would NEVER stick.

If I tried to make a stereotype of Scala being anything but an academic WANKFEST, again yes IT WOULD NEVER STICK.
