SICP lectures fansub project

Remember the now-defunct SICP Subtitles project (sicptitles.org)? We're REviving it!

Anyone is welcome to join the project and help with transcribing, editing, and typesetting. We currently have lecture 1a transcribed and ready to edit, and someone has so far already completed 15% of lecture 1b.

We'll be reencoding to 640x480, it doesn't look too bad upscaled and you can actually read the text on the slides that way. Does anyone know whether the .mpg or .avi raws is the better quality?

Anonix is active and currently idling, if you have code you can still submit it. We haven't closed it or anything.

They're SRTs, you can change the text style and color to your liking. We just chose a comparable size to what you get in most fansubs for the preview.
