Is F worth learning for this reason...?

Hi.

There's a girl in one of my classes whom I find absolutely beautiful. I found her Twitter, and apparently she codes in F a lot. The thing is, I've been meaning to talk to her, but I have the feeling I won't have anything to talk about. We don't seem to have anything in common. For the record, I pretty much only program in Scheme and Haskell.

So I've been thinking of learning F and doing a small project in it. I want it to be somewhat impressive, of course. F doesn't seem to be particularly easy to master, though, so I'm reluctant.

Well. Do you guys think I should do it, and if so, is there any book you recommend?

I bet you haven't even reached Satori yet. Also you should probably try and learn Fjölnir, girls (like me ^_^) get moist when a man is coding in Fjölnir.
