Why does /prog/ read SICP?

All it does it talk about LISP and SCHEME.
Seriously who programs in these languages still?
I have a job programming and guess what I use: Visual Basic! I know it's a kiddie language but it gets the job done and I can usually whip up a program in 10-20 hours! Plus it's just plain fun.


Also, how come every time somebody types /prog/ they always do it in spoilers? /no u/
