PyGTK is very nice. The only complaint I have that some widgets (such as list and tree) require quite a bit of setup code. You need to create a model, view and columnrenderers just be able to view a simple list.
Disclaimer: I've only used PyGTK so I don't know how it compares with other toolkits.
