What language should I learn?

I'm going to be in a third world country with limited internet access for 30 days. What would be a simple, useful language to learn in the meantime?
If its any consolation, I'm in school for economics.

factor. it makes you write better code, and it comes with excellent documentation.
it's kinda like qbasic, but with a real programming language.
