Name: Anonymous 2009-05-01 6:08

KDE 4.2. Well, I guess technically, KWin is my window managing system.

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-01 6:08

Because they are using a toy OS

I use GNOME because I enjoy a hideous screen and lots of bloat

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-01 6:22

>>15
Enjoy links to files on the desktop rather than actual files.
>>16
Enjoy your bloat and shitload of useless daemons.

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-01 6:27

I used to use classic style but recently changed to the one with the blue and green. It's nice, I feel better about myself while using it.

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-01 6:38

Yeah, I didn't like Luna at first either, but I have grown to like it. Same goes for Vista's interface. Windows is still a toy OS though.

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-01 8:03

The Royale theme comes with Windows XP Media Center Edition, but you can download it for XP Home/Professional.

It's less fisher-price than Luna.

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-01 11:13

XFCE4. I never really liked BLOATED desktop environments.

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-01 11:28

Name: Anonymous 2009-05-01 13:11

Slightly patched XNomad with a 12 KB config.

Huh? Have you used KDE 4.x? There is no more "Desktop," at least not in the traditional sense. Instead, there's a Folder View widget that lets you see any folder from your desktop. I have two folder view widgets, one for my home folder and another for my Downloads folder. The icons on the folder view represent files just as much as the icons on a desktop represent files, but KDE 4 lets me view files from multiple places at once, which is convenient.
