Everything but the kitchen sink to be developed in java.
in java, I can do anything and HOZAI.
Spit in the POI, VBA macro I used to draw graphs.
even if google translate is horrible, atleast its good to see they've adapted to the ENTERPRISE
The western version of 2ch would be basically to gather all the english-speaking programming sites users and having them use a single BBS. Imagine what /prog/ would be like if it had users from all those other programming-related websites. That's what 2ch is like.

And yet people "from this board" don't want outsiders here.

Exactly in what way would having all the fine ``hi i want to write a mmoprg in c++ help plz lol'' and ``why my php no work'' individuals onboard would constitute to `good'?

how DO you get emacs to work?
when i loaded it up, it said something like "to view the help file type C-x-y z", so i did, but nothing happened - i just got a newline.

emacs: Terminal type "dumb" is not powerful enough to run Emacs.
It lacks the ability to position the cursor.
If that is not the actual type of terminal you have,
use the Bourne shell command `TERM=... export TERM' (C-shell:
`setenv TERM ...') to specify the correct type. It may be necessary
to do `unset TERMINFO' (C-shell: `unsetenv TERMINFO') as well.

This is how 2ch is. Anyone who says that theirs is better, just doesn't know Japanese so everything looks like "awesome" to them by the mere fact that they can't see the faggotry.

Someone tell these 2channers about /prog/ and maybe they'll post here and we'll have a party

You should stop being DQN. Your post does not make sense.

That's because they use it PROPERLY. Sage is not used for showing disapproval or user moderation. It's just used for not bumping a fucking thread if you don't feel like it.
>>70
Exactly. On 2channel and Futaba they use the sage function "politely" as to not age or "bump" a thread to clog up the front page, and allow newer threads to be more visible to incomers. On 4chan, it's ignorantly used as a sign of disapproval and the oft-used "SAGE THIS SHIT!" is posted. Sometimes "sage-bombing" comes along with the territory. Quite sad, 4chan, quite sad indeed.

that's only on the parts of 4chan that aren't /prog/.
people misusing sage on /prog/ are just ignorant faggots who can't tell the difference between /prog/ and /b/.
>>75
Not really. I visit only /prog/ regularly, and have been doing that for years. Initially, I used sage only for its intended purpose. Since then I've found this approach to be quite limiting, and have started occasionally consciously `misusing' sage for more expressivity.
