I'm searching for a serious, correctly mod-ed, BBS where I could talk about programming with serious people, instead of wasting my time reading "hax my anus" or "YHBT".
Can you help?

i think that for a PROGRAMMING board to become as active as /prog/ and still stay ANONYMOUS you must let the morans in
and let them in we have.
but it also becomes good if you can filter out all the garbage. for example if i'm stuck somewhere i often ask /prog/ and then just bookmark the thread and return a few days later to reap the benefits of an anonymous board. while you get tons of troll replies you always will find a serious reply among them and the trick is to filter them out.

The beauty of this BBS is that it is not moderated. If this board required user registration and was moderated, it wouldn't be nearly half as active.

I actually agree with you. I've enjoyed some good threads on this board. Unfortunately these days it's like panning for gold.
