I2P Anonymous Network

Name: Anonymous 2009-04-02 15:24

http://www.i2p2.de/

"I2P is an anonymizing network, offering a simple layer that identity-sensitive applications can use to securely communicate. All data is wrapped with several layers of encryption, and the network is both distributed and dynamic, with no trusted parties.

Many applications are available that interface with I2P, including mail, peer-peer, IRC chat, and others."

Semi-related, it's open source. The cool thing about it is that everything you do stays completely anonymous and you can even habe your own 100% *.i2p site.

There is no anonymity in TCP/IP. Thread over.

Come back when you've done some research on network technolog- oh, right. You're just shut-in NEETs without any real technical understanding.

Ok, multi-layered pseudonymity.
In practice these two are different only if a large portion of relay hosts (how about 10%? or even 50%?) are controlled by a group of collaborating entities willing to dissect your traffic and track your activity.

Thanks 6! You are really helpful!
>>5 You just got owned.

Please don't always try to make anything bad you don't yet know, this may actually be really cool - just get to know it please.

He's obviously talking about Cat Pictures, leave him alone

Name: Anonymous 2009-04-02 17:51

From what I can tell, i2p is rather unfriendly to CP. Tor on the other hand seems to have been created specifically as a CP distribution medium.

Correlation is not causation

Name: Anonymous 2009-04-03 2:30

>>20
While that's true I think you misunderstood what you were saying, and in fact it hardly even makes sense. "Correlation is not causation" says formally, A correlation between two elements, a and b is not equal to a Causation between those same two elements. It's interpretable perhaps using higher order logic, but I believe what you meant to say was that Correlation does not imply causation.

I read up on that a few months ago while using tor. I don't know why someone would want to use that over tor, though.
