I've only taken an interest in computers (other than gaming) recently, and I've noticed there are so many OS's. What does /prog/ use? I've tried ubuntu and it made me realise how windows is not the only way, we only like it coz its all we knoow. I saw there are a bunch of others and was considering trying out fedora just to see, but I dont want to waste all my hard drive space on operating systems..
I'm a stabile debianfag since a-lot-of-time-ago. I usually prefer command line interface, since it's more powerful than any other user interface. I don't feel comfortable with graphic approach...
Nevertheless I'd like to give Fedora a try. I think that it probably is better than ubanto, since ubanto is the least standard distro that I've ever seen... If you are used to work with a whatever tool, be sure that ubuntu will change it.
I don't think this is a good distro. Yep, it works fine, it's lightweight and gives you bleeding-edge software... and this is awesome. But I think that Arch won't be such distro for years to come. It will sink, I'm afraid.
