Anyone want to help out with Jappleng?

Name: George Zimmer 2009-03-29 23:10

I need help with programming the site.  After many tests it was decided that Joomla would be a good/stable environment for it, but the problem is that I suck at working with it.

Jappleng has proven to be pretty highly regarded as one of the most promising Japanese related sites out there so that means good news for whoever wants to help.  It's a free site so it'll be a while before there's a steady cash-flow so it's all volunteer until we can get big.  Everything is completed besides the programming.  Which means all the designs, planning, marketing proposals etc is all done.

We can discuss a fair trade such as ownership % if you help out.  I'm running out of ideas on where to find people so I decided to try here.  Hope I don't get b&

Take care!

Sure, but only if I can rewrite it in Haskell.

lolz, it would be a problem if it were on /b/ or something.  But I trust the discussion pages a lot more than any other place on here.

WEEABOO

Actually, there's a distinct difference between Jappleng and the rest of the weeaboo sites out there.  Jappleng is about teaching real Japanese culture and the real language.  Not some faggotry weeaboo shit.  Quite a few people got b& for talking like a weeaboo over there.  Gaia ruined what was once cool.

Lol Joomla. Good luck with that. Most people worth working with wouldn't even touch it if you paid them, much less for free.

Well, if it's not Joomla, then it can be whatever else that works well.  Joomla was just the ideal theoretical app to use.
