Dear /prog/
I'v been working as a developer for about 6 months.
My code is always over time = over budget.
I am not sure if I am just a shit programmer, and need to fix that, or if there is something fixable about the environment.
One thing I wonder about: as a new employee, the projects I do are to the same schedules as the leads work to. Surely there is something basicly wrong about that, they earn a multiple my salary...
I always saw myself as a good programmer compared to other students, so getting yelled at every couple weeks by my project manager is a real reality shock.
Assuming some of you are devs, what did you do wrong during your first few months, that you wish you could have put right?
