Yahoo Messenger Commands

I had a friend awhile back who was able to constantly change his status message in yahoo messenger using Visual Basic. How do  achieve such? Constantly changing means he made a program that has a timer and changes the status every second, so his stat goes "X seconds til I log out". Said friend has lost the resources on this one.

I'm going to keep reporting these threads until they stop happening.

tell Application "Yahoo Messenger" change status to "$X"
