I want to major in comp sci

Is this a good idea or should I get a real major and teach my self programming on the side?

Does x thousand dollars for a CS degree sound worth it to you?
Vote yes if getting paid 40 to 150k to program, debug, attend meetings and write documentation for 8+ hours a day for the rest of your life after college is worth it to you.
