Quest for Satori

Hello /prog/ gurus.
On my way of achieving Satori, I decided this is the right time for me to try a proper functional language.
My question is, should I learn Haskell or a variant of Lisp, along with reading SICP?

Well anyway, how do I make the text white and the background dark? Black on white isn't very healthy for my eyes, and I don't want blindness to get in the way of my enlightenment.
