recommendations for C textbook

After 2 years of learning Java, my university course has now progressed to C. The lecturers recommend a few textbooks & I've already downloaded a load in pdf/chm format from Demonoid, however I am considering buying a real legal paper copy of the best one because I find it easier to work with than a pdf/chm viewer.

So I have come for your recommendations /prog/, what are your favorite C books & why? The obvious frontrunner is 'The C Programming Language' by Kernighan & Ritchie (the one that all of the lecturing staff say we should get if we get any of them) but I'm open to other opinions.

I like them better than pdfs because they are more lightweight, and easier to navigate with hyperlinks.
