They are the coffee table books of the kind of people that reinstall linux all day, subscribe to 2600, consider The Matrix to be fine art, have "Information should be free" stickers on their laptops, use Model M keyboards, and whose wardrobe consists entirely of thinkgeek.com t-shirts. They exist to be casually namedropped. Stick to a good C# API reference. Maybe Wrox or Sams is right up your alley.
